Ghostbusters: Analysis of Frozen Empire Movie

 Introduction

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire provides an interesting turn on the Ghostbusters franchise, adding new obstacles, a new antagonist, and a good dose of déjà vu for the fans. Directed by Gil Kenan and produced by Jason Reitman, this installment picks up after the events of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, bringing in a frozen apocalyptic disaster for New York. This picture combines comedy, the presence of which strengthens the horror and action, typical for the series, with the use of tendencies in modern cinema.

Cast

Back from Afterlife, here is Carrie Coon as Callie Spengler, Finn Wolfhard as Trevor, Mckenna Grace as Phoebe, and Paul Rudd as Mr. Grooberson. The new busters are Paul Feig, Melissa McCarthy, Kristin Wiig, SNL’s Kate McKinnon, and Chelsea Peretti, while the legendaries are Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and the charming Annie Potts. The cast returns the comical and sharp humor of the movies that many people loved. The old Ant-Man, played by Paul Rudd, brings the light and funny feeling to the movie, and the new addition of the villain, performed by Kumail Nanjiani, is quite menacing but also takes some comedy in it, so that adds quite a lot of dynamics, especially with the young and the old teaming up.

In the process of solving the mystery, the team struggles with individual issues, and the value of their heritage is revealed to them. The movie depicts new technology and apparatism, which is interesting from the perspective of the film.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire has been created as equally a masterpiece that pays tribute to tradition while paving the way forward. In short, it’s a movie that anyone and everyone who is a fan of the show should see, but for the neophytes? Consider this a rollercoaster ride.
